Nous sommes ravis d’annoncer que Tim, notre directeur adjoint au Fitzherbert Arms, a brillamment réussi son examen de Beer Sommelier le vendredi 28 novembre à Sheffield. Félicitations à Tim, officiellement accrédité Beer Sommelier ! Le Fitzherbert Arms confirme une nouvelle fois son excellence ! Le mardi 24 juin à Londres, notre pub a été sacré Meilleur Pub du Staffordshire pour 2025 lors des Pub and Bar Magazine Awards, remportant ce titre prestigieux pour la quatrième année consécutive. Une fierté immense pour toute notre équipe. Ce succès se poursuit encore avec une nouvelle victoire d’or ! Le Fitzherbert Arms, situé dans le village de Swynnerton, a reçu la distinction la plus haute, le Gold Award, et conserve son titre de Pub de l’Année 2026 aux Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent Tourism Awards. Côté gastronomie, nous privilégions les ingrédients de saison et collaborons étroitement avec des artisans locaux : boulangers, fermiers, bouchers, fromagers, ainsi qu’avec des pêcheurs assurant la livraison quotidienne de nos fruits de mer. Nos bières sont sélectionnées dans un rayon de 30 miles, avec un choix de bières artisanales internationales. Notre carte des vins, simple mais intéressante, célèbre également la diversité et la qualité. Pour vos événements privés, nos Staffordshire Rooms accueillent jusqu’à 60 convives assis et 75 en cocktail. Parfaits pour fêtes, dîners, shoot suppers ou baptêmes, nous adaptons chaque événement aux souhaits de nos invités. The food at this restaurant is delicious, but there was no heating on when we visited and the place seemed a bit run down. The price per person is around £20-30. The food was rated a 4, as well as the service and atmosphere. Recommended dishes include the Steak and Ale Pie. Finding parking can be somewhat difficult, but there is a free parking lot available.
The English Pub has a car park that can accommodate approximately 30 cars, however, during our visit, at least 5 cars were parked in a very inconsiderate manner, forcing us to park on the road about a hundred yards away. Despite this inconvenience, the pub itself, its staff, decor, and food were all excellent. The price per person ranges from £10 to £20. The food received a rating of 5, the service a 4, and the atmosphere a 4 as well. Recommended dishes include the Steak and Ale Pie, Pudding, and Fish. Finding parking can be somewhat difficult, but there are options for both free parking in the lot and free street parking nearby.
Have eaten here and love to call for a drink Sunday afternoon. I find the menu rather solid English food and would like lighter options but that is merely my opinion. The food is great and love the ambience. 25 Nov 23 OMG no heating, freezing cold. Problems with the food, late service. I could go on, however we had our own great company which was in the favour of the establishment as the overall dining experience was pretty poor. Should be better!!!!
