This is a fantastic spot for a stroll, whether you're with children, dogs, or just adults. There are charming cafés lining the path and plenty of benches to relax on. The area features both short and long hiking trails, making it accessible for all skill levels. There's not much else included, but the beautiful garden at the end is definitely a highlight. I highly recommend getting a yearly pass if you plan to visit... View all feedback.
What Lucy Lucky doesn't like about The Six Arches:
Very mediocre. Went for breakfast and waited just under an hour for it to come out after ordering. The restaurant wasn’t particularly busy at this point either. Relatively expensive but that’s to be expected at trentham. Food was OK, nothing special and some of it was cold. Probably wouldn’t return. Service: Dine in Meal type: Breakfast View all feedback.
Beautiful gardens, a pity that we couldn't see them in the summer. the weather was fantastic, so the walk around the lake was cozy. loves the feen that are dotted around. a way, system so good social distancing. the people also observed it in the shopping village. not so well in the garden center restaurant, where only a few workers wore masks to serve customers eating.
Beautiful day outside. gardens are beautiful. the series of numerous shops in small wooden houses with a lot of clothes, gifts and eating are amazing and support small businesses. the garden center has an amazing series of garden and household gifts and the 2 restaurants are also beautiful. dogs welcome, what is fab!
Visited the gardens and can highly recommend, had a fantastic family day out! Mostly disable friendly although a few steep areas. Vegan ice cream options. Plenty of picnic benches and an amazing play park for the kids... As well as the stunning surroundings, such beautiful gardens. They have implemented lots of hygiene stations and one way systems for covid too, great day out.
The walk around the lake is one of the few things keeping me sane during the lockdown! All feels very Covid safe with a one way system implemented, alongside the need to make reservations. The walk is gorgeous (especially on a clear day) and super quiet; midway round you'll pass by the monkey forest keep an eye out towards the top of the fence and you might see a monkey or two I spotted one jumping between the trees.
