Contribute FeedbackThe once-beloved Indian buffet has faced a decline in quality, according to recent diners. While some praised the friendly staff and vibrant atmosphere, others were disappointed by overcooked dishes, unappealing textures, and even hair found in meals. The hurried service created an uncomfortable dining environment, likened to a conveyor belt. Yet, the menu still offers decent main curries, and takeaway options have garnered positive feedback for generous portions and prompt delivery. Guests are encouraged to weigh the pros and cons, as many contemplate returning to other local choices. Will it reclaim its former glory?.
Attending this place with my friends after being recommended by a family member. Food was 10/10 and everything was perfect. The food was also fresh. The workers were polite and also the owner was there which he had made sure we had the best service. Would definitely come back here and recommend to the rest.
Very sad to write this review as 'average ' after my last 3 make up a big portion of their reviews as our favourite Indian Buffet. Sadly this time it has been a different experience tonight. We were in early doors as usual. Nice time to go as only a few couples. Have to say the food just wasn 't up to same standard as usual. The onion bhaji as an example were just over cooked and stodgy. The meat rolls tasted off, really strange taste. The Tikka Massala was lovely and so was the Tikka Starter bits. These never fail to disapoint. Even the salad bits just lacked lustre tonight, the pasta one 's were very stodgy. The one main thing that was annoying tonight was the fact the second I put my fork down the young waitress (lovely girl) literally pounced on us to take our plates away. It became awkard as this developed in to as soon as I put my naan down on my plate she would move towards the table so I had to quickly pick it up again. My Wife couldn 't see this but I was facing the girl and it was just all very uncomfortable and like the last review states it made us feel very much eat and leave even though it wasn 't even that busy. I don 't like the fact she removed my Wife 's plate whilst I was still eating and vice versa, it is not good manners. Probably won 't be back in a while now. May go back to the Buffet in Longton which we gave up for here. Added extra, the glasses that they give you to pour your alcohol into are far too large (it 's take your own) as are the pint glasses they serve your inclusive soft drinks in. It feels awkward to have to pour your soft drink out of the pint glass to add to your alcohol in the smaller glass which is still too large. Oh one other thing. As we walked in, there was a dirty looking guy in a high viz jacket sprawled across the reception sofa rubbing his eyes looking extremely tired. I commented to my Wife that the poor guy looks shattered and bet he can 't wait to get home with his takeaway.....Only turns out he is their delivery driver!!! Was a little off putting to see this scruffy man in dirty high viz walking up and down into the kitchen to collect the orders for delivery. Shame it didn 't all live up to our normal experience
Broad assortment op Indian curries, starters and desserts. Familiar admosphere. Nice place to celebrate birthdays and family reunions.
We visited here last night for our Son's 18th Birthday. We are regulars and went only 2 weeks before also. On that occassion there was a male member of staff with a beard and black glasses who literally wipped our plates away literally as we finished eating. On one occassion he took my Wives whilst I was still eating, it wasn't good manners and I didn't dare put my cutlery down incase he took my plate! He wasn't working last night so service was better. I think we have realised that we go here for the starters, sauces and deserts. We don't really think the curries are on par anymore sadly. The Tikka Massala and Korma are very bland. I certainly wouldn't order a curry as a takeaway from there as I think we would be disapointed. I don't like to leave such a disapointing review but just trying to be honest. Lovely staff on last night including the main man on reception. Be a while before we go again this time.
Food was lovely with lots of choice, staff were very friendly and helpful, would use again if in the area. The only thing I would say is rip up the carpet and replace with tiles, as the floor was very sticky, no fault of the staff thou, as carpet will get dirty.
