I thought I would try out their breakfast so ordered the big one. It was large enough for the biggest appetite and at £4.50 it was pretty good value. Although they were not busy, the food took longer to arrive than I was expecting, suggesting that it was all cooked to order. Everything was good and I was more than satisfied. View all feedback.
What Raymondson doesn't like about Sainsbury's Cafe:
Only one person on the counter on a Saturday, taking orders and making coffees. Queue sometimes 6 or 7 deep and a 30 plus minute wait to be served. Lady in front of us ordered a toasted teacake. Now 15.mins since ordering, still no sign of it.. Very poor!!! View all feedback.
The restaurant is decent, but the food and drinks are not the best. It is only recommended if you need a quick ten-minute break from shopping.
3 staff moving at 1mph A 45 minute wait for avocado (cold) smoked salmon (cold) and toast (2min cook time) Worked in industry for 10 years and really don’t understand how a place could function so dreadfully. Do not come here!
We stopped by for a quick lunch. The positives include that the restaurant is easy to locate, affordable, and offers a nice variety of food. However, there was a shortage of trays which made the experience a bit awkward. The service was slow, although very friendly, and there was plenty of seating available. The restaurant has a laid-back atmosphere and does not try to be fancy.
This is an inexpensive place to eat. Reasonable food at a reasonable price. Slow service, but a pretty good feed when it eventually arrives.
