Bistro Rouget - Stockton
Bistro Rouget
Description
Bistro Rouget offers a charming small‑town French bistro experience with bold, flavorful dishes, generous portions, reasonable prices and pleasant outdoor seating with occasional live jazz. Staff are generally friendly and reservations are easy, but service and consistency vary: there are reports of slow or dismissive service, limited menus on certain nights, occasional cleanliness issues, and unexpected closures. BYOB and cash-only policies mean plan ahead. It's a delightful spot for a relaxed evening—just expect some variability.

Never had a bad meal! Service is friendly and efficient. Need to try breakfast.
First time there. We were on a motorcycle ride and decided to try it. The food was fabulous! Best arugula Caesar salad ever. The salmon entree was huge and delicious. Organic chicken with mushrooms was cooked perfectly. Chocolate for dessert. Perfect evening for outdoor dining. Another plus, BYOB. Very reasonably priced. Appetizer, 2 entrees and dessert for $80.
Would certainly recommend trying this spot. Great atmosphere, tasty dishes, fantastic customer service. Great work.
The shrimp was absolutely incredible, and the hostess was extremely kind. I couldn’t think anything that was wrong, and a jazz group happened to be playing at the restaurant for a birthday party, but it really made a great mood. The hostess was extremely kind, and everything was just great.
