Gourmet Grub - Stockton-on-Tees

Ordered the chocolate pizza which is advertised and looks amazing when it came my little girl was devastated ! had a small spread of chocolate on and peanut m and ms on asif you would put peanuts on some thing aimed at kids, looked nothing like what was advertised ! the parmo wasnt great either ,also have deleted our post off there page didnt even have the decency to reply or resolve the issue !!

Completely wrong pizza made one containing meat! that was meant to be vegetarian. Even despite that, was thick and chewy rather than the authentic thin and crispy style ordered. Called to see if they would rectify this the answer was they couldn 't they had used the last of the dough on our order despite us ordering approx 2 hours before closing time. They have offered to honour our next meal free instead but doubt we will order from them again we had to prompt them to enquire about our details for the promised free meal so doubt it would ever come off anyway. Chips and garlic sauce for tea for me tonight and money down the drain ta gourmet grub! Garlic bread burnt too just to add insult to injury.

The parmo and homemade chips at this restaurant are unbeatable, the best in Stockton. The delivery service is very reliable, and I have always enjoyed a delicious meal from here.

We have been regular customers at Gourmet Grub for over a year, enjoying their delicious house special pizza that stood out from others we had tried. However, on our last two visits, the wrong pizza was delivered to us. After calling the restaurant, they did send out the correct pizza 30 minutes later. This time, when I called, I was informed that they had changed their house special but failed to update their website, leaving customers unaware that they were ordering something completely different. The new pizza was supposed to be chicken and chorizo with yogurt, whiskey BBQ sauce, and fresh basil, but what we received was pepperoni with BBQ sauce on the base and slightly burnt. They were willing to replace it with another option, but since the pizza choices were limited and none appealed to us, I requested a refund. My partner ended up with a portion of soggy sweet potato fries for dinner, which I had to crisp up in the oven. Although the staff were polite and apologetic, this experience has left us hesitant to order from them again.

I placed an order that was over and hour and ten minutes due. When I called to ask why the man I spoke to was rude impolite and addressed me in a manner which he had no righ to do, trying to address me on a personal level. After explaining to him I was going to call,just eat and repost my situation he called them first. So my experience with the restaurant was followed by a cold call advising me my order had been cancelled. When I advised the caller of what had happened no concern was shown for the way in which this man had spoken to me or dealt with me as a customer. I will not order from the restaurant or just eat again because of this. But from the attitude of both involved neither party will care. #business
