Description

**Review of Angler Restaurant: A Mixed Bag Experience**

Angler Restaurant presents an impressive facade, with a limited dining space and generally commendable service. However, customers frequently voice concerns about the pricing and portion sizes, suggesting the food does not always live up to the high expectations set by its online reputation. While some dishes shine—especially the barramundi and fish burger—others disappoint due to burnt or uninspired preparations. The ambience earns mixed reviews, yet friendly staff and prompt service remain consistent highlights. Overall, Angler offers moments of culinary delight amid critiques of pretentiousness and value, making it a restaurant worth trying carefully.

Absolutely superb grilled barramundi and hand cut chips. service: dine in meal type: dinner

The barramundi here is the best I've ever had! Even the chips are outstanding. As for the service, it was great. I dined in for lunch, and the price per person was between $20 and $40.

Spectacular. the fish of the day was barramundi, generous serve with hand cut chips and house made season. incredibly fast service, nice open kitchen, access to the chefs and the open fire. the restaurant was full on a Thursday evening, with people who enjoy the ambiente, that was my second visit and will be back asap! service: eat in

Even though it was a hot day, we were blown away by the waiter's expertise with oysters and the owner's knowledge about fish. The fish was incredibly fresh, and the hand-cut chips were delicious. The white peach salad was fantastic, and the bubbly wine added the perfect touch. This place is incredible, and I can't wait to return to enjoy the West Australian oysters again. Service: Dine-in Meal type: Lunch.

We had take away. Wood fired grilled Tommy ruff and a fish Burgher and chips. Extremely disappointing. At the price it was nothing special and the chips were almost burnt. We decided not to go there again. Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3
