What Swedishtomcat likes about The Woodhouse Coffee Shop:
We enjoyed a very filling lunch here. Plenty of mouth watering choices (plus daily specials) on the menu. Great service and great big portions. It was popular on Saturday we only waited about ten minutes for a table and that was with two groups ahead... View all feedback. What jackie b doesn't like about The Woodhouse Coffee Shop:
Have always enjoyed a trip to Woodside for tea, scone and a blether with friends and today was no exception, until folks with a dog arrived and sat at next table. I am all for dog friendly establishments but this dog, clearly anxious, barked continuously throughout. My friends and I found it very intrusive, making conversation difficult. read moreThe Woodhouse café offers a mixed dining experience, celebrated for its hearty portions and friendly staff. While many patrons rave about the delicious food, including breakfast favorites and tasty lunch options, there are concerns regarding their approach to dogs in the establishment. Although marketed as dog-friendly, some visitors noted that the café's tolerance waned with any barking, raising issues about the true extent of their pet-friendly policies. Overall, The Woodhouse maintains a welcoming atmosphere and offers quality meals, but improvements in staff training and a more genuine acceptance of dogs could enhance the experience for all guests.
