We visited the Fourth Inn for lunch on Sunday, May 23rd after a disappointing experience at the Faerie Tree Inn. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a friendly and smiling staff member who took our drink orders shortly after sitting down. The service was excellent and the food, especially the fish, was amazing. Overall, a great experience at the Fourth Inn. View all feedback.

I visited the restaurant around 5 o'clock and it was quite quiet, probably between lunch and dinner. The ladies' restroom was in terrible condition - the wash basins were very old, dirty, and disgusting. My partner and I originally stopped by for a drink, but ended up deciding to stay for a meal. We have been regulars at this pub for years and have always appreciated the warm welcome and delicious food. I ordered the fish and chips, while my partner had the pork fillet with Stornaway black pudding. Our dishes were cooked to perfection, beautifully presented, and surprisingly affordable at £42 for both, including a bottle of sparkling water and a large glass of Sauvignon Blanc. I was disappointed to see some negative reviews online, as this pub's charm lies in its old-world atmosphere and rustic feel. Despite its small size, the pub is well-maintained, the staff is friendly, and they go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Plus, they even welcome dog owners! We look forward to returning soon.

There was paper on the floor and hardly any space in the toilet cubicle when the door was closed. It was a disappointment and not acceptable at all. Despite this, the burger was delicious but slightly overpriced at almost £15, and it was served with frozen chips. This would make me hesitant to return, which is a shame because the burger was really good.

We had place 1. garderobe so close to the bed that the door would only be partially opened. a night table near the foot of the bed as no room for it placed on the bedside. beautiful staff in the evening and at the breakfast. during the day, as the hotel is very tired and shaded. corridors with empty gin bottles (literal). I set the answer of the owner to negative reviews here. if they think that these answers are good, then this can be their kind of place.
We were walking the Rob Roy Way, starting at Aberfoyle ending in Pitlochry over 5 days. We arrived at The Forth Inn at 8.30pm and whilst food was no longer being served there was a fish and chip shop over the road. We had a...room with an en-suite, the was basic but comfortable and the bar staff and locals were friendly. Breakfast was fantastic and for our first night it did the job perfectly.
