Very nice place and cozy. They wrapped a garden burger with iceberg when we asked for no bun. We didn't ask for that, so it was nice to see it done naturally. Vegetarian options: The usual for a burger seafood shack. Salads, fries, onion rings, garden burgers. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch View all feedback.
What Russell Kiel doesn't like about Breakers Café:
This place feels like we're still in a pandemic. You order fish and chips, for instance, and it comes in a box with plastic utensils, a ton of french fries and two packets of ketchup. And this place ain't cheap! Then you order beer and it comes in plastic cups. You don't serve draft beer in plastic! Just mediocre all around. Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3 View all feedback.
Nice location. Good change in the menu. Bright flavors. Happy people fast service.
Dog friendly outdoor seating. (They only had outdoor seating when we went in July '22). Staff was very friendly and helpful. Good beer selections. Food was good (had the seared tuna sandwich and the burger), perhaps a little over-priced, but it is the Stinson Beach area, so probably the same as everywhere else in this area. No parking, but found street parking easily.
Cute seafood cafe within walking distance of Stinson beach, maybe a 5min walk. A bit pricey but for a beach town area it's to be expected. Attached is a picture of the menu and prices as of 5/14/22. Food was delicious ?. Would go back again when in the area.
**Pros:** The portion sizes are massive! I could have easily shared the burrito with my companion, but we ended up ordering three dishes. No worries—we were quite hungry, so we managed to finish everything! While it might seem a bit excessive, the portion sizes made it worthwhile. The grilled oysters were still fantastic! Thankfully, this place was open even though the other restaurant was closed, which was a real lifesaver. **Cons:** The salsa was a bit overwhelming. I’m not sure if it was the tomatoes or just too much lemon juice, but it overshadowed the other flavors and detracted from the burrito a bit. The steak and shrimp dish came with rice—while it was good, it could have used some spices; otherwise, it would have been perfect. Oh, and one more thing: they automatically provide takeout boxes. This seemed wasteful since we intended to eat there. It would be nice if they used reusable utensils instead of contributing to unnecessary waste.
Absolutely the best seafood pasta! It was loaded with prawns, mussels, fish, and scallops, and they were perfectly cooked. The outdoor seating was lovely, and the service was excellent. I would highly recommend this place—definitely a 10/10!
