I'm really glad Stillwater has a top notch ramen place like this. I've had the Tori Paitan ramen, Chili Shoyu ramen, and Ma Po Tofu ramen which were all fantastic. The appetizers are also great, the fried oyster mushrooms and chili wontons in particular. Service is always very fast and attentive.Vegetarian options: There are some vegetarian appetizers such as the spring rolls and veggies wontons, and the Ma Po Tofu r... View all feedback.
What Zachary Dupree doesn't like about Devoted:
I am so shocked that this place has 5 stars. I am not a hater, or a Karen, and I’m a stoner (so I’m not picky) but this is the most bland ramen I’ve ever had. The broth tastes more like salt than anything else. My ramen was supposed to have pork belly, a fatty cut of meat, tell me how there was ZERO fat. My extremely sensitive to spice sister, got a “spicy” dish, and said it was barely even tickling her nose. A super... View all feedback.
Devoted was an unexpected find. Excellent atmosphere and service. The sawn tree bar was tasteful and reminiscent of rural Japanese sushi bars and ramen yas. The spicy shoyu ramen was spicy enough to clear your sinuses, but not so spicy that you couldn't taste the freshness of the ingredients. The broth was worth finishing. Gyoza and steamed dumplings were an excellent accompaniment to the meal.
Devoted has been on my radar for a hot minute, and when the weather turned rainy and cold, I knew it was time to seize the opportunity to see if it lived up to the hype.It did that and then some.Tucked away inside the Crepe Myrtle Asian Market, it would be easy to miss this, quite literally hidden gem.Once you've made it all the way back. You notice that the vibe and decor changes. They did a wonderful job remodeling the back space into a cozy restaurant (seats maybe 25).We got there at a good time, as there were only 4 groups ahead of us, and a line of 30+ people quickly formed behind us. We signed up on their paper sign-in sheet (important not to miss this step) and waited 20-30 minutes while chatting with people in line.Once inside, we tried the Takoyaki to start. Delicious.Since it was chilly and wet outside, I opted to try the Chili Shoyu Ramen. There are not many places that I'll rave about, but I've been raving about how out of this world good this ramen is.The broth is divine, and the texture of the noodles is perfect. Even though this version of the shoyu ramen is spicy, it isn't overwhelmingly so. Just enough to be enjoyable and open up the sinuses. My bowl was completely empty at the end. You better drink the broth. The service was friendly and checked on us often, and it's a wonder watching the well-oiled machine that is the 7-8 man team that is devoted.I will be back, and you should go if you have time to spare. Just be prepared, the tempting aromas will definitely stimulate your appetite during your wait!
Best place in Stillwater especially In the winter. Get a pho made by a cute grandpa. So authentic so delicious and soooooo filling. A must go in Stillwater
Holy moly some of the best ramen I 've ever had! I 've had the privilege to try a handful of ramen restaurants around the US and this was up top! I ordered the tonkotsu ramen , and the broth was extremely flavorful and satisfying, seasoned eggs were perfection, pork was delicious, and all the other toppings were well balanced with the rest of the dish. Also had their first date wings and wow I 'm amazed! I 'm not much of a wings gal but my friends insisted, and they did not disappoint. Definitely recommend. The staff was all so friendly and accommodating, super helpful and attentive. The location is the cutest little dine in area which was so cozy and made the experience more personal. In addition it 's located inside the Asian market which made the wait time fun!
Amazing food, incredible service. There is usually a wait but we arrived 5 minutes before dinner opening time on a Saturday and were seated immediately. If you go once, you will be back!
