Silverado Cafe and Pizza Parlour

We ate two meals at the Silverado during our stay. Service was always cheerful and the food was very tasty - we had pizzas and burgers. The portion size is large and was served hot and presented very well. The cost was very reasonable. This is a very good choice for an enjoyable meal.

Great food and service at a reasonable price with exceptional quality. I had the halibut. We had pizza there earlier in the week and it was great.

It's a pizza restaurant so the pizza should be the best thing on the menu. Unfortunately, it's not. The pizza is below average and not as good as a Pizza Hut pizza. (Which is not saying much)! The burgers are very large with a large bun to match. Probably the better choice if you're determined to eat in this restaurant. The plus is that the service was friendly and they do have beer and wine. Again there's a qualifier, and that is that there is only one white and one red wine, and they both come from boxes! You might do better by looking elsewhere in town.

Had one of the best beef taco salads ever. Obviously popular with the locals as it was quite busy for a Thursday dinner time, or it has the only T.V in town. This restaurant is called the Silverado Pizza Parlour and although we did not have pizza they looked great going past our table. Certainly would go back again.

We were in the environment to observe in alaska bears.All our desires were fully taken into account. e.g. we could not decide which pizza we should take and have asked if we could have a pizza with 2 different halves. no problem pizza came as ordered! simply great photos in the local of rare white grizzly bears.PS grizzly burger taste
