Lanterna - Stevns

All very good. I had the prawn starter , then the pork fillet for main which was fantastic. My partner had the plaice which was large very tasty. Very good service.

We were there for dinner. We had fish. It was fresh, and really well prepared. The deserts were also good quality, and well prepared. Wine was low priced, and decent.

They did very well to cope with eleven of us tonight. Food was outstanding. I had the roast pork Sunday special. Two of the family had the plaice which was great. Makes UK. Plaice look small. Others of us had everything from steak pie thru to Wiener schnitzel. The wine was good as well. It was good to back here again.

We were staying in the area and couldn't get in to the first place were wanted closed at 8pm) so went to the Lanterna.on the off chance. Not a great location or building but the staff were good and chatty, and the food was rustic and satisfying albeit with little flair. It does seem popular with the locals as driving by on several occasions the car park was busy. It is a large place so always tables available. So if you want food, at a reasonable price and just want to roll up it is OK , and don't be put off by its 1970's style architecture.
