While the store dazzles with a vibrant array of cakes, pastries, and hearty sandwiches, some patrons have lamented the inconsistency in food quality and service. Disappointing items like gristly Cornish pasties and poorly warmed jacket potatoes have marred the reputation of this otherwise charming spot. With a rich history of quality baked goods, it continues to attract devoted patrons.
