A hidden gem in the heart of sterling, I have been coming here since 2015. The food is incredible. Chef Jona is as special as they come. Cooks with love, and her food shows it. My recommendations... Burmese Iced Tea is a must Try the yellow split pea fritters to start And for the main course, I would go with either The Rangoon Night Market Noodles, Golden Mountain Noodles, or one of the several curries. What Bartholome Hammes doesn't like about A Taste Of Burma:
Order for family, mountain noodles, tofu and mustard green, fermented tea salad and a few starters. Really shocked this place gets so many good reviews, it is really sub-standard and hardly authentic. I asked several times not to put spices in the mountain noodle shell because of my three-year-old toddler, but they did.... The whole bill came to $70, but they couldn't give me a breakdown of the bill. I added the enti... View all feedback.
Had dinner with my friend last night and it was a great experience! It was our first time to try Burmese Food and we were both very happy. Try the crispy fish and the Mongolian beef as these were the highlights of our meal. The cook is hearty and you can taste the love in their meals. Will return in the near future!
We were the only in the restaurant short staff, it is better to avoid this place, as the service lacks great time. They have increased their prices so that you essentially pay more money and get under average food and no service. fritted rice was in no case too salty, this authentic the owner saw overwhelmed for the money we spent it was quite disappointing

I added the entire order on the basis of the website menu and it came to less than 50 dollars, so not sure why they jack me. Note, this place is soooo disappointing and not worth the trip.
A really wonderful hidden gem. Burmese is something you don't all that often, but if you're a fan of Thai you may be more familiar with the fishes than you think; I would describe it as similar but more rich and usually less spicy, but still made with great spices. I've been eating here for about 10 years now and am consistently pleased with everything here. The food is vegetarian friendly, the staff is very polite and the decor is comfortable as well. A truly great restaurant that is worth a try.
Very delicious. We ordered a lot of dishes including gold mountain noodles, nan gyi thote, mohinga, crispy bean sprouts and shrimp, fried tofu. Very authentic and Highly recommended. Please give it a try.
