Always my go-to when I'm in the area. You won't be disappointed.

I had french toast with mine.... read more Disappointed, The vibes and atmosphere are great. The food is ok. We ordered the motherclucker for brunch, waited almost an hour. I had french toast with mine. Chicken and French toast ?extra crispy? ie burnt. Hard as a rock. Tell the waitress and shesays let me get the owner. Why? There?s not a process in place for dissatisfied orders except bugging the owner? 5 min latershes still walking around with my plate. And asks if i want a whole new sandwich or just replace those items? Um i had an issuewith those items so just replace them. She brings a whole new sandwich out, no syrup, 5 min wait for that. French toast arestill super crispy ?deep fried? but they need a different batter cause that?s not it. Owner never came. Drinks were good. Itseems to be a eat before you come and enjoy the dj type of place.

The hostess told us they were... read more While visiting the area, we ordered takeout from Down South Cajun Eats to enjoy in our hotel room and asked for plenty of ketchup. The hostess told us they were out of ketchup packets and suggested we stop at McDonald's for some, rather than offering to give ketchup in the cups used for tartar sauce. We requested four cups but were only given two, which didn’t seem sufficient for five pieces of fish and fries. Considering we spent $40, we felt our request was reasonable. After some back and forth, they finally gave us more ketchup, but by the time we got back to our hotel, the food had cooled. Providing good service from the beginning can really help avoid problems like this.

Fish and wings had a good flavor, mac was definitely a quick fix mac not baked mac and cheese and the roll was a store bought, balled up roll that they could have left off the meal. Withall of that said we ordered to go to bring back to our hotel room, as we aren’t from the area, we asked for plenty of ketchup,the hostess came back and told us we’d have to use ketchup at home because they were out of ketchup packets. We explained thatwe weren’t from the area and she suggested that we stop at a mcdonalds for ketchup instead of offering to give us ketchup inthe cups that the tartar sauce came in, we asked for four, she came back with two and said thats all she could give us, we had 5pieces of fish as well as fries, certainly wouldn’t have been enough, and wasnt asking for much to get more having spent $40.They eventually gave us more but between all of the hassle our food was cold by the time we got back to our room. Give greatservice the first time and there will be no room for error.

It’s a nice... read more I’ve been to Cajjun Eats a few times for brunch and dinner. The food is really good, the grits and fish were the highlights. The drinks are strong. It’s a nice vibe for brunch or late night. The new expansion is a nice touch. Our server Cleo wasfriendly and prompt, service was quick. I’ll definitely be back.
