We are straight on the heart route from romanshorn via appenzell to stone and have eaten in the evening in a special place. I had good appetit and what we ate was good. the card is clearly but well structured. my mostbröckli appetizer was very good and the following cordon bleu super and really plentiful. the restaurant has a lot of appealing charm and the prizes are amazing for a zürcher. the service was very nice and we had a very nice evening. at any time. absolutely recommended!
Fairytale atmosphere coming to Stein's sonder. The “last snow of spring” is falling (there will be the next week) and we take refuge in this cozy little town, with typical low ceilings. The friendliness of the managers immediately puts us at ease and I recommend it for a tender meat fillet. veal meat, coming from a local butcher, is excellent and tender as I wished. Outside the meadow covered with snow there is a child who is exercising to bring the big bell in anticipation of the traditional manifestation. The salad is varied, goose and prepared with care. I choose a cake to the pear, made in the house, without knowing well what to expect and the surpse is more than positive: is really delicious
The restaurant special in stone, Appenzell-Ausserroden is in every look special and worth a visit: the beautiful location, the lovingly cared Appenzeller-Bauernhaus and of course also sepp, the charismatic wet and its super team.
