Hervorragend, reine Freude
We have already visited the assault some paintings for the metzgete, as well this year and it was as always a happy affair. the schäfli is a typical beiz, simple but somehow stylish and suitable for the appenzellerland. the couple zwick offers a very personal and friendly service, it in the kitchen and it in the gastronomy. the bloodworst was excellent, also applies to the leberwurst and the bratwurst. the one velvet was perhaps a bit too long on the grill, the rösti crisp and the herb well seasoned. the wine card offers everyone something and the hospitality is simply super. reservation recommended. Too bad it's a little far away.
