This is definitely the best franchise we have ever experienced. The owners are frequently present, the restaurant is spotless, the food is extremely fresh, and the servings are quite generous. I highly recommend paying a visit. If you are in the vicinity, you should come here at least once a week. View all feedback.
What Janine Hein doesn't like about Mr Sub:
With a gluten intolerance, we stopped on this subway to try to advertise the tack-free offers of subway. The gluten-free bread saw little doubtful, but hungry and ready to give it a try. I asked what toppings were offered gluten-free. I was greeted with an empty star and a delayed answer that they were all. I pointed out that perhaps the Teriyaki chicken probably had wheat in the marinade, he has not yet understood.... View all feedback.
This is hands down the best Sub shop in BarrieFantastic service, amazing sandwiches and a Canadian franchise owned by Canadians.

I always come to this restaurant and get my sub just the way I like it. The staff is friendly and the toppings are always fresh and never spoiled.
I have stopped at Mr. Sub in Stayner several times during my travels through the area. The new owners, Kim and Chris, have made significant improvements to the restaurant and service. The establishment is spotless, uses fresh ingredients, provides excellent customer service, and has a friendly staff.

I asked what toppings were offered gluten-free. I was greeted with an empty star and a delayed answer that they were all. I pointed out that perhaps the Teriyaki chicken probably had wheat in the marinade, he has not yet understood. I asked if he had an ingredient list. Another empty star. If a restaurant advertises gluten-free options, the staff should know what these options are.
