It's crazy exterior opens up to a bar area that's reminiscent of a pub in the UK and the dining room houses a fascinating collection of photographs from STAWELL's past. we hired this restaurant Eastersonntag to book. I am a native and the owner answered the phone and said it was not the diamante house. we called later and got a booking. with incoming owner played a cellitude that lacks attention to his guests and his...staff waited for Vax certificate, but woukdnt accept a qld so we went. there were two baskets of dirty laundry of yakka work clothes on the floor next to the recipe.... Warm and welcoming at Diamond house motel. Packing a daughter to move interstate has been a tough job but I know at the end of the day there is an amazing shower, good food and smiling faces. Comfy bed, plenty of room, good lighting. I'm very grateful to Diamond in assisting us to.make an ardious job more pleasant. . Yes this is the place to stay in Stawell. .
We had just a one night stay over, room was clean and the electric blanket was just what we needed on a chilly evening, food in the restaurant was excellent also good value and great service, we’ll definitely come back another time.
The budget motel has a traditional vibe and friendly hosts. The rooms are well-maintained and spotless. Some ground floor rooms may experience noise from above due to creaking floorboards, but it wasn't a major disturbance. The highlight was the restaurant, which served outstanding meals accompanied by live blues music, a monthly event on Saturday nights.
This restaurant is a charming hidden gem that is definitely worth a visit. The food is exquisite and the customer service is friendly and helpful. I have previously enjoyed their perfectly cooked steak, and this evening I chose the Kangaroo which was cooked to perfection and served with a delicious 'Bush Dust' rub. I highly recommend this place.
Although this restaurant may not look like much from the outside, it came highly recommended to me. I can confidently say that the steak I had here was one of the best I have ever had. The website doesn't do justice to the amazing quality of food coming out of the kitchen. Overall, the meal was absolutely delicious and the chef's work was brilliant.
