Gift Hotel - STAWELL

This was the worst meal I have ever had. Frozen veggies, scallop potato was just awful. Kiev was drowned in a very salty gravy.....Never had such a terrible meal

A group of family and friends met here for Sunday lunch. Nine meals, I very much enjoyed the roast lamb and vegies and wife loved the pork belly with saffron sauce. One of our party had fish and it had been cooked from frozen - batter overdone and fish almost raw. Otherwise little to complain about. Service and bar staf lovely. Steer clear of seafood when you are hundreds of miles from the sea! Recommended if you choose wisely

Real country hospitality at this hotel. While eating our meal we were watching the staff carry out their work and were very impressed with their manner and attitude to their work. Nothing was too much trouble and they were very happy to tend to special requests.

Wow!! we went for dinner on a Saturday night and the hotel was busy we didn't have a booking but the staff were great and found us a table and we had a great meal big steaks and great Peppercorn Sauce if not the 2nd best Peppercorn sauce in the country (Had a few) steaks were price at $29 each and were great value, Will be back for sure to the gift hotel and would even consider the drive from Melbourne to have there T-Bone and peppercorn sauce. A great pub close to town and the oval.

Nice lunch. A range of pub food nicely presented. Good place to pop in for a steak. Choice of 200 gms or 400 grma with cooked veggies or salad. Easy access to the bar for a beer, and they also have a coffee machine. Pleasant service. Nice paintings on the walls.
