The staff are knowledgeable about veganism and happy to suggest alternative menu items (for example hummus on the bread that accompanies the soup, rather than butter)

The cafe serves a small range of paninis and sandwiches with hummus, red pesto, olive tapenade, and veggies. I recommend the vegan pizza with a red pesto base and seasonal greens. It is not made from real pizza dough, but wholemeal, I think. The daily soup varies. They also sell a range of locally made organic juices/lemonade and locally roasted organic coffee. Vegetarians have lots of pastries to choose from to. Vegans will have to make do with chocolate. N.B. this is not a fully vegetarian or vegan cafe, they do serve ham sandwiches, e.g.

They don’t have an English menu but whoever works there is pretty helpful in helping you figure out what’s what/vegan. Delicious black bean soup, the bread is amazing.
