Bølgen Moi Stavanger As

Fantastic experience in Bølgen Moi. The server was attentive and knowledgeable, the food and the wine were delicious and we had a beautiful view of the port. Very recommended!

I love this place. Excellent sea views, amazing food, super service, beautiful atmosphere. It is not cheap, but the experience is worth it!

Great place to sit on the warm sunny day in the water. The food was delicious and very nice served. Upstairs they let us in with a dog that is a big plus for the restaurant. Very nice experience overall.

We decided to eat lunch in Bølgen Moi in Stavanger on Saturday and fortunately we had booked a table! Since the weather was great, it was actually fully booked for the field service. This must be the best view of the city as you sit right next to the oil museum on the waterfront. It is always a bit windy in Stavanger, but they have some glass walls installed to prevent it from getting too cold. We were ordered and the food came very fast, and it was perfect for us this day. Nikki wanted Moules Frites and she got a bowl with steamed mussels. The shells seemed huge and juicy – maybe they are in the season. The juice on the bottom of the shell was also very good and had many aromas of the shells. The frits served together with the shells were crispy outside and fluffy inside and were completely fresh. These were the best pommes I had in a long time Bølgen and Moi! I wanted the fish soup and that came served in a similar bowl and the soup was also very delicious. It was creamy and rich and full of aromas – and it contained a piece of white fish as well as shells and shrimps. There was also a good bread and Aioli served with this dish and I loved the fresh bread. So all was very good! Lunch outside in the sun in beautiful weather, beautiful views and very good food! Well done Bølgen Moi we have to stop to try the evening menu soon!

This is “a gem” in Stavanger, located at the seaside with nice outdoor area facing nice neighborhood across the water. This time visiting was the Constitutional Day in Norway and the baked Cod with lovely asparagus and other sautéed vegetables was very good!
