The chef's tasting menu was described as beautiful and delicious, with outstanding wine pairings. Guests raved about the incredible entrees like risotto with added scallops and chicken and dumplings, as well as the presentation and portions of the dishes. The ambiance of the restaurant was described as dreamy and special, making it a must-visit spot in Staunton. Despite a few negative experiences, Zynodoa shines as a standout dining destination for those seeking a memorable and delicious meal.
We were a group of seven and they rearranged the tables into a square so we could all talk rather than the usual long rectangle where talking to the people at the far end of the table is impossible. Food was excellent. Steak tartare was perfectly (un cooked. : Scallops were superb. Drinks also. We'll be back.
Swanky restaurant, even had some nice gluten-free options 9–21
The atmosphere was great. My husband had a huge lovely brunch item. I ordered a salad which should have been entree size 18.00) but came out the size of a side salad. I ordered a protein on it as well which put it up towards 27.00. The salad was average at best and the portion was completely wrong. Drinks were good. Service ok. Mentioned the size of salad to server who admitted she understood but didn’t follow up or offer service recovery solution. As much as enjoyed the cute atmosphere I prob won’t op to spend here.
It was an excellent dinner we had. You’d better make a reservation before you come. The price is reasonable and the Tomahawk steak are really pretty good ????
Wonderful first experience. The server Hannah was able to answer all our many questions. She was attentive without hovering. The brunch was delicious and filling. The cornbread is a must. So worth the effort on a dark rainy Sunday. Especially grateful toour friends that invited us.
