Panda Express - Statesboro

Food was good and they were fully stocked on everything. Staff was friendly and helpful and the service was quick. Overall I would say this is a great Panda if you want some American Chinese fusion food.

Ordered the broccoli and beef bowl. Majority of the bowl was broccoli and rice. Just a few pieces of small thin meat.

I truly believe this place has trained employees to cook the rice incorrectly. Most of the time the rice is crunchy it’s pretty disgusting. The proteins are good when fresh.

I got a family meal and all my all of my five contenders were not filled up all the way. I spoke with the manager he did not care. pictures included...

First, let me say I live in SC, and I come to Statesboro at least two or three times a year to visit family. I have been going to Panda Express for several years, and it is always the first place I go eat when I'm in Statesboro. I was in town yesterday, so after I finished with my family visit, I went straight to Panda Express. So this really breaks my heart to write a bad review for them. I ordered a plate with Chow Mein, Orange Chicken, and Kung Pao Chicken. Three of my favorites. I had them many times at this location. The Chow Mein was DRY with no sauce. It was tasteless, and there were no vegetables in it at all. Just noodles. The orange chicken was more breading than chicken with very little sauce and taste. It was just gummy. The Kung Pao chicken was all heat. I know it is supposed to be hot, I've had it many times, and I can tolerate heat. But this was so hot all I tasted was the heat and no flavor. I went inside to order my food. The person who helped me was just there. Ok, I get it. He didn't want to work. He wasn't rude, but just there. I got there at 5:30 and there was practically no food available. It's dinner time for gosh sake, there should be plenty of food. So I'm really unhappy because it's getting harder and harder to find decent fast food and this was my go-to place for a good meal. I threw out 90% of my meal and went to bed, still hungry. I don't know if I will ever go back. There are too many other places to eat in town, and I hate to waste money and food. Sorry Panda Express. You can do better.
