The Saucy Shrimp - Statesboro

You must definitely play Russian roulette with this place. Nobody says what every visit brings. I am a lover of seafood, and I usually get the shrimp / crab pocket. For the amount of money is paid I want my food properly cooked!!! Shrimps are always too soft, sauce for the bag taste spoiled, and corn is slim. The fried shrimps are always fried in old fats, making your shrimps taste like fish. After I have repeatedly asked to cook my food in fresh oil, and my shrimps, not to be overcooked, it never happens. Saucy shrimp was so much better than shrimps. This is now a waste of time and money.

We had a group of 13 adults and two children. Our waitress was patient and friendly. The food was good and full of taste. The diversity was perfect because everyone got what they wanted from a children's meal to crabs and scalops. I highly recommend them.

We left when it was? Not that busy thinking we could get a good meal and not mess with the crowd. The waitress was friendly enough and the food was good, but it was painfully slow. Even after dinner, the waitress checked us and knew we were done, but we had to wait 15-20 minutes until they got the check. The food was good, just not so good. Many other great places to eat in Statesboro!

Good, but not great. I like the atmosphere and the service, but the food was just okay. I felt like eating was excessively salty. I'll be back to see if it was a fuke or a change of cook.

It was a great experience the food was excellent a service was perfect and the cost was reasonable so I enjoy my visit
