I visited this new restaurant for the first time and had a great dining experience! The fried pickles were some of the best I've had in Statesboro. The Homestyle Fries were also a favorite of mine. The only downside was that, like the last place I visited, the burger patty was smaller than I would have liked. I ended up with more bun than burger in my last bites. Called at 8:15 and was told they aren’t accepting take out orders. Moved to a bigger location presumably to take in more business and then turn away customers. Seems like walking backwards to me. I’ve worked in restaurants for 15 years, wish I could’ve just denied service cause it got busy. Would’ve made my job much easier. Must be nice. Great variety of menus! large alcoholic beverage menu! fun environment. bathrooms can use a good detailed cleaning. some carefree brands appeared on the handicap bath and some other areas. this device is new, restaurant is very clean and crisp. if they don't pay better attention to the toilets, they will get out of hand! except for that. enjoyed my visit here!
This is one of those jewels that you will have to be patient but it’s well worth the wait! I totally understand the high reviews because the food is cooked to perfection, flavorful, with large portions. Our party of four was passing through and stopped because of the convenience and great reviews. We all ordered different items and all loved what we got. Even though we had a bit of a wait to be seated and a little wait for the food to come out, our server (think his name was Matt) was great and provided great service. Will definitely be back when we pass through!
Place was not extremely busy but Waited 10 minutes before being greeted (if you can call it that), discord between staff in front area-seemed no one knew who was doing what, food was warm at best, hamburgers are very thin loaded with garlic taste, mushrooms on burger were obviously directly from can tasted gross. Server was nice courteous. When they were at previous location everything was on point delicious. Hope things work themselves out to make Bites like it was.
The burgers were great. The fish tacos left a little to be desired. Service was phenomenal!
If you want a burger come to bites. The house sauce and chips are amazing. The jalapeno burger on Texas toast is devine. We also love the fried pickles. Best burger joint around.
