Vinum Wine Restauarant - Staten Island

The food was fantastic and the service was outstanding. Although the entrance seems small, they actually have several spacious rooms in the back, which is a pleasant surprise. My wife and I enjoyed the lobster dinner along with a lovely bottle of Italian red wine; they have a great selection. We definitely plan to return to try the duck and rabbit, as we were too full from the lobster to explore more options. On the night we visited—Tuesday, I believe—there was no valet service, but we were fortunate to find a parking spot right outside.

This is a charming little hidden gem that serves exceptional food. It's a tiny wine bar and restaurant, with only about five small tables. If you're not familiar with the area, do keep in mind that the neighborhood has its issues. While this isn't the restaurant's fault—and that's why I rated it 5 stars—it's worth mentioning that it's known for some crime and can feel a bit sketchy (take it from someone who's lived in Staten Island for over 25 years, or just google Stapleton). That said, all of our drinks and food were outstanding, especially the truffle pasta, which I highly recommend. The prices are very reasonable as well. Our server was incredibly polite and efficient. We would definitely dine here again.

It's a quaint little place with a unique touch; their menu features rabbit and duck. The handmade linguine was particularly delicious.

We hosted a party here for my boyfriend?s birthday, everything was well coordinated and the staff were very helpful and friendly! Even when we had to add additional seats, they didn?t seem to mind. The set up was beautiful too! And the food was delicious. We did family style since we were a group of 24 people. All the food options were a hit!

Great food, must try on the island, come a few minutes early to find parking.
