A great place with super friendly bartenders and staff with which you can talk well and are ready to help you get a beer or drink that you will love. Not the biggest menu, but the things on the menu are great. I especially recommend the black and blue burger? Probably my favorite thing to get there, along with a cold pint. Do not judge a book by its cover , yes it might look like you are not welcome as it is a locals pub , but believe me you couldn’t be further from the truth the bar maid was very friendly and the food was fantastic home made corn beef was to die for a sandwich completely packed with meat and flavour . And $4 for a bottle of bud half the price of Manhattan. Highly recommended and a must if you want to step off the tourist path .
As a Brit visiting my favourite City it was a joy to have a beer here. A bit more authentic than Times Square! Great beer, great service.
When I worked for Coors in the late 80’s Steiny worked for Budweiser. He always had the bar business in his blood. Atmosphere is super casual. A classic, local gin mill. It’s a great place for a few drinks before a show at the St George Theater next door. Cheers Jimmie!
Just had the best burger ever in Jimmys on visiting Staten island for the first time. The chilli cheeseburger was absolute perfection! Very friendly and very much recommended!!!
