PM is one of what I consider "top drawer dining" restaurants. Customer focused staff- courteous and attentive to your needs. Good people skills are evident. The food as always is second to none. My wife and I had a lovely conversation with the manager/co-owner. Our server was a gracious young woman. Our experience at PM today and always was a "reason to come back again" experience. What Alicia Kuvalis doesn't like about Pasticceria Bruno:
Overall, the meal was good. The service was a bit challenging due to the pandemic, but we had to request champagne, salt, pepper, and maple syrup for our pancakes. We also had to remind the staff to clear some of our finished dishes, which wasn't done until we were completely finished. The portions were decent, but I don't think the brunch is worth over $25. Their brunch menu is great Sometimes the service is lacking depending on what time you arrived Many young college folks working here.
Definitely not authentic Italian food, I was very unsatisfied with everything we ate, the eggplant was dryer than an anisette cookie and the pizza soggier
This is perhaps the best brunch deal on Staten Island that we could find.
The food and service were both excellent. Ther prices were very reasonable. The chimichurri chicken was excellent, the Chicken Cobb Salad was excellent as was the Steelhead Salmon over a bed of cold quinoa. The salt and pepper shrimp was very flavorful.
Excellent service! The food was good but salmon was a bit drenched in sauce and not really warm. Short ribs were excellent.
