So far only ordered during lunch time and only picked up food... but good taste, good quality, good price. Started going here since my old go to place further South down the avenue changed management and essentially changed quality for the worst. Tried a handful in and around the area and this is my new go to for Chinese takeout. View all feedback.
What luvsangelique doesn't like about No. 1 Chinese Kitchen:
I had the chicken wings here before. It was mediocre at best. It taste like old refried wings from the day before. The service was okay. The people in the front were not kind, but they act professional. Just don’t like the area this restaurant is in. View all feedback.
Used to be the Best hood spot in the port. Used to have Dumplings that was on point. Now everything is trash. General Tso's taste and feels like sweet hard fried chicken skins (no meat at all). Fried chicken quality is definitely a swing and a miss. Dumplings is less dough and just a minimal amount of pork. There best yrs are far behind them. Covid gave them the excuse to not have a seating area. Used to be a huge fan but not anymore. Go to one of the other 4 chinese restaurants on Port richmond Ave.
