Shocked to see the other reviews when I stopped by to leave this one. Our encounter at heartland bagels was quick, staff took our order right away, I asked for an extra toasted bagel, she even asked me if the bagel looked toasted okay before putting on the cream cheese. What User doesn't like about Heartland Kosher Bagels:
Best bagels the customer service is a shame. It’s a mix of kids and older women all w not the friendliest attitudes and they just don’t care. My order will often be slightly off from what I ordered, somethings missing, something I didn’t ask for was added, etc. The employees need more training and resources, probably more coverage too. I’m sure they are good. Not actually kosher though, not a legit hechsher. Closest kosher bagels are probably Brooklyn/Jersey. This place is more kosher-style.
Was in SI visiting for the weekend. A friend recommended Heartland Bagels. We stopped there today. I was waiting online and the workers behind the counter were ignoring me and taking people walking in after. This happened 3-4 times, so I started saying something and the teenager behind the countered stared at me and said What, I 'm helping someone else .. yes, the people that were in line after me. I left and went to another Bagel Shop. Which will get a great review for their quality service and organization.

Delicious bagels and muffins! The French Toast Supreme is outstanding!
I could enjoy their whitefish bagel sandwiches every day. It’s one of my top bagel spots on the island.
