I 've been to Gringo 's several times and had a great time, so I was excited to celebrate my son 's birthday there. I don 't know if it 's under new management or they couldn 't handle a busy Saturday night, but it was TERRIBLE. This was our second visit, and it exceeded our first experience. The food was excellent, and there are great options for all kinds of diners, including vegetarians and those who are gluten-free. The addition of Skee Ball is a nice touch, and the music was just right. The service was attentive without being overbearing. I absolutely love the White Sangria!

The food was terrible, and all three of us ended up getting sick. We had to send our meals back. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

By far the worst restaurant I have ever eaten in. Food was awful, service was slow, they didn't have avocados to make the guacamole .... it's a MEXICAN RESTAURANT!!! They charged almost $60 for a pitcher of ice filled watermelon punch that had zero alcohol!!! I would not go back, even if it was free.

The food and drinks were fantastic! The service was outstanding, even with my loud three-year-old in tow. Plus, you can enjoy playing skee-ball and Pac-Man—what could be better? Taking a walk by the water after indulging a bit too much really allows you to appreciate Staten Island. I hope they continue to develop this area. I will definitely be returning!
