When you're craving some delicious food, this is the place to go. I always opt for the specials to keep things interesting.
The Woodrow location often receives unfair criticism from customers who are frustrated with waiting for their coffee or food. While it can be irritating to wait, especially when we all need our first cup of the day, the Charleston location is generally quicker. Despite the longer wait times at Woodrow, the quality is more consistent. The staff are working hard, and the long lines are not their fault. Mobile ordering is convenient, although there may be delays in receiving coffee during busy morning hours.
On February 10, 2022, around 7:30 pm, I experienced poor customer service at this restaurant. The worker had an attitude with the delivery man and ignored me while I waited in line for about 10 minutes. When the worker finally showed up, they threw their mask on the floor and insincerely asked me what I wanted. I decided to leave and all I heard was a dismissive "byeeeee." I hope the restaurant takes action against the workers who were working that day. I will not be coming back and I hope this location closes.
The employees at this restaurant are incredibly unpleasant. I asked the older woman to give me two ice cream cones with milk and caramel, but she informed me that they didn't have any milk, even though I could see it right in front of me. I have several allergies and she didn't take them into consideration when preparing my order. On top of that, I was charged $8 for something that should have only cost $5. It took 15 minutes to receive our drinks. When I asked to speak to the manager, I was told that the older woman was actually the manager. She had no clue about what had gone wrong with my order and I wasn't the only customer who had experienced issues.
I go to this restaurant every morning and the service is excellent, but when I visited at night, the service was terrible. I asked the man at the front for cream for my ice cream dish, but he argued with me saying that cream is not meant for a latte. I insisted on getting what I wanted, and he became aggressive and made me feel uncomfortable. Another customer sitting next to me confirmed that this behavior was typical of the man. When I asked for his name, he refused to give it, but the customer next to me mentioned that his name was Jeffrey.
