Basil Forest Ave - Staten Island

Misleading menu, overcharging for items. Do not order from here, the quality of the food has diminished.

I heard great things about this place, so I wanted to try it. I had been craving shrimp parm, so I decided to check them out. I ordered the calamari (ok), shrimp parm with linguine (ok), the cheesesteak egg roll (wasn't a fan), and a personal cheese pizza (very good). If I was to ever go back, I would just stick with the pizza.

Colleague and I ordered two salads (which was supposed to be for our lunch break) and waited over two hours for delivery. It didn't even have meat on it just leaves! How do leaves take two hours to prepare? Ridiculous.

So I've been wanting to come here for a while now cuz I've heard good things I ordered a caprese salad and unfortunately it just wasn't good at all my husband had ordered a chicken parm garlic knot looks amazing but unfortunately is wasn't good the bread was sooo saggy looked like mush inside and the chicken was alil hard

Just ordered a Cuban sandwich through the app and it was phenomenal!!! From the meat to the bread to the pickles. Perfectly layered, every bite was mouthwatering!!! Even the packaging of your sandwich is excellent. Would totally go back!!! Thank you to everyone at Basil!
