This vibrant restaurant is a favorite among many locals. Dining here feels like being part of a close-knit community. If you're looking for a taste of traditional Quebec cuisine or a trip back in time, visiting this place will transport you to the Eastern Townships. Our group all ordered the speck extra crispy and were pleased to receive exactly what we asked for.
We stopped at this restaurant for lunch on our way back to Boston from Quebec City for a last taste of Quebec, and we were pleasantly surprised! We both ordered the poutine and it was the best we had on our trip. The fries were crispy, the gravy was flavorful, and the cheese was just right. Rendez-Vous is licensed to serve beer and wine, and their menu offers a large selection. While it may not be fine dining, it excels as a family restaurant and is definitely worth a visit.
I was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. The menu had a good selection and the fresh cut fries were delicious! It wasn't anything extraordinary, but it was very tasty. The portions were decent, the prices were good, and the atmosphere and location were really nice. We will definitely be coming back.

Most restaurants in that area are closed on Sunday and Monday, the two nights were were in there. On the recommendation of our B&B hosts, we visited Rendez Vous restaurant while on a recent trip. They've been open a couple of months. Although they're open all day and into the evening, the dinner offerings are slim. The menu was more like a diner menu. It was not our style of restaurant. My dinner partner and I selected sandwiches. My Reuben was huge (I couldn't eat it all) but the meat in it was rather thick and tough. The fries that accompanied both of our sandwiches were on the greasy side. The cole slaw side was minuscule. They are still awaiting an alcohol license. This is a restaurant still in the early stages. Hopefully they will improve.
