Chicho's Cocina - Stamford

New favorite place to get lunch from! Quick, decent priced, and delicious!

Was searching for a new taco spot on Google on the way home from my office and Chicho's came up, so I gave it a shot. I'm not sure how I never noticed this place going down Shippan Ave. Food was outstanding (ordered a bunch of different tacos, including the cauliflower ones and the lime chicken), authentic and reasonable. The place looks really nice and they did a great job with branding and getting their ordering/IT infrastructure in place. I was impressed. If only they served booze. This is my new taco spot.

Picked up food and missing sauces, salsa, sour cream for quesadillas. Annoying because you have to check it on the order. Very annoying as not having it definitely ruins the meal. Overall, it's expensive as every dish is approx $15 whether a burrito, nachos or quesadilla. They seem very stingy on napkins, sauces, salsa and sour cream, utensils even with high prices. Burrito is definitely small along with nachos. Nachos are packaged horribly. Both are over priced and examples of shrink flation.

At last, there's an authentic Mexican restaurant in Stamford! The burritos and bowls are packed with flavor, thanks to the friendly staff who prepare them. The food and sauces are absolutely delicious! They also offer a rewards program for regular customers, and I enjoyed $10 off my last order. I really love this place and highly recommend it!
