Stumbled upon Chef Vin’s a few days after just moving to Stamford and let me just tell you … the food is unreal. It was so good, I went the very next day. The soups are A+ and the Cod sandwich with salad is awesome. Vin is also a really cool guy, who used to be a chef in Manhattan, and now has taken his talents to Stamford. Highly recommend. What Ella Hustle doesn't like about Chef Vin Food Company:
not sure why this place has so many good reviews. Got my order completely wrong in almost every possible way besides the chicken and quinoa. The chicken had no flavor, black quinoa was inedible and the cauliflower was extremely bitter. I can only manage about 3 bites of my bowl until I had to toss it out. I am not one to leave bad reviews but now I am hungry on my lunch break and short $22 so I think its fair enough View all feedback.
The cod sandwich is perfection super fresh and flavorful. Exceptionally kind service. Highly recommend.

The food is so fresh and delicious, and nice and hearty! Great for a cold winter day. We got two winter harvest bowls and the smell walking home was heavenly! They were so good and filling. Lots of yummy veggies and a delicious goat cheese sauce. We also got the vegan lentil soup. So hearty and flavorful. Best meal yet in Stamford.
Absolutely delicious. I work next door and order from chef Vin frequently. I never pass on the lentil soup, it’s so good. Today I got two bowls of lentil soup and one bowl of the chick pea, spinach and aged chorizo soup…I should have gotten three of each. Highly recommend.
Chef Vin is my new favorite lunch spot in Stamford! The food is amazing, I appreciate the healthy/quality ingredients they use and the owner/staff is so friendly. Definitely recommend if you are in the area!!
