We were in need of coffee and breakfast on our journey from Port Campbell to Apollo Bay, and we found this wonderful little spot.
Awesome food, home made deliciousness. Great staff & good atmosphere. Perfect lunch spot while checking out the Great Ocean Road.
We were driving from Port Campbell back to Lorne, and some of the viewing platforms were chilly and cold. When we got to Lavers Hill, we just wanted a good Coffee and a light lunch. WOW!! This Cozy little Café was just the place. A handy car park off the main highway, and they had souvenirs (locally made). along with art and crafts too. The coffee was great, and so was the Excellent service by the Lady of the house, Cashmere, or (Cashy), as she prefers to be called. She explained the foods on display, which were all home made. I just had the home made chunky beef pie, and my wife had the Ricotta and Spinach Pastry parcel. The Food was great, and we met an Irish Couple travelling through the area, so a good place to chat as well. In all a nice place to stop on the journey through Lavers Hill, off the Great Ocean Road in Victoria. We will call in there again next time we are passing by.
I stumbled upon this restaurant by chance and was pleasantly surprised by the charming selection of art, crafts, and textiles. The food was excellent and reasonably priced, and they offered a variety of 9 loose leaf teas. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive.
