Lovely place off the beaten track. Really good food and the bar staff were lovely. The TV wasn’t working unfortunately and it’s really off the beaten track for those who don’t drive Service: 4 Location: 3 Hotel highlights: Quiet, Great value View all feedback.
We stopped by for Sunday lunch and were pleased to see that dogs were allowed in the bar area, which had a nice open fire. Unfortunately, there was no vegetarian option available but my husband ordered the gammon and he really enjoyed it. Overall, we found the meal to be great value for the price. The hotel also has other highlights, such as offering great value for money.
Great beer and dinner. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the food was delicious. Alton Towers is just a short 10-15 minute drive away for those looking for nearby activities. The service and location both scored a perfect 5. This hotel is also kid-friendly, which is a major highlight.
The meal was delightful, the atmosphere was pleasant, and I would definitely return when I'm in the area. Service was rated 4 out of 5, and the location also received a 4.
Lovely roast dinner, the first cooking to remind me of my nan’s, who sadly left us over 25 years ago.
