This venue must get the prize for the worst fish and chip shop in the country. The chips were utterly revolting and the fish was so thin even the batter was thicker. Do not go to this shop

We had haddock and chips tonight. It was absolutely delicious! I recommend it without reservation. First class food, prompt and polite service, good value, and a lovely chat with other customers. Thank you Abersalt!!

I have stopped by this restaurant a few times on my way back from Nottingham, and it never fails to impress. The owner apologized for the wait, but I didn't mind waiting for the delicious fries! The fishcake was also fantastic. It's a pity that this place isn't closer to home.

Chips were quite nice. Kebab was shocking to say the least. I wouldnt feed it my dog. 9.50 for some thin burnt scrap ends of 'kebab meat ' and some black chicken. Not really service with a smile either. Wont be returning to say the least and wish i could get my money back. Not what i wanted after a hard days work
