Nice staff, food not great Price per person: £10–20 Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
Food was very poor standard. I had the steak ale pie chip peas and gravey. The pie was warmed up in the microwave, the pastry was all soggy and not chrispy at all, the meat in the pie was tasteless. Kids portion of chips. Wasn't worth £13. My partner had, fish chips and peas. The fish was tiny, just like a child's portion, and a tiny spoon of peas. That was £12. not value for money at all. Won't be going there again Price per person: £10–20 Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2
Don't go if you need gluten free food. There are no markings on the menu, they were unable to provide a separate allergen menu and when asked if anything was available, the staff just looked at each other blankly. Signs say ask ypur server, what a joke. Not even a basic awareness of food safety. Absolutely shocking. Price per person: £1–10 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
Very disappointing! We used to eat here quite regularly before the new owners took over as the Burgers with fantastic prior to this, we were all very disappointed with our food as was less than amateur cooking with tasteless burgers that were overcooked and stale burger buns , One of Of our dishes was chicken and that person was very ill for 3 days after it was sickness and diarrhoea “suspected undercooked food poisoning” cutlery was dirty to the point of I will not be returning which is such a shame as it used to be a fantastic place to go with character. Price per person: £60–70 Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3
