I have been to a lot of Wetherspoon pubs in my time, and this one is my favourite. Mostly because of the building the inside is gorgeous. It's definitely worth a visit just for the decoration! Wetherspoons deserves praise for transforming a former movie theater into a pub. The building may have been saved in the process. I visited during a windy late September evening in 2023, with sporadic light rain. The salad I ordered, with bacon and chicken, was tasty but the chicken pieces were small. It came with a Pepsi. Great service but the app wasn't great it was very slow and wasn't clear about which drinks were included with the food. That said the staff were friendly and helpful the food was lovely and served quickly and everywhere was spotless.
Amazing place to have a meal. They've done a great job in keeping with the old picture House. Friendly staff at bar..my steak was really over done. But this was the first time in a wetherspoons. The Place made up for this and my wife's brunch was spot on.
A great small pub with good music and a very friendly relaxed atmosphere
The restaurant is a bit small for the number of people inside, including the small smoker zone with gas bottles nearby. However, the prices, music, staff, and overall atmosphere are fantastic. I always enjoy my time there.
What can I say the owner makes fantastic with the venue, I think she is, some amazing coworkers think that she called shan (the with ginger hair), although james upsells sambuca to me, which is good
