we came to stoke for a football match and found this pub online. we are so happy that we let it go! eating was amazing, the atmosphere was great and the staff was top notch. it was lunch, so we had sandwiches, but we also had the steak and ale cake! my English husband was thrilled! if we ever get back in the opposite, we will definitely come back! Visited the establishment with friends for what I thought good food and great evening. Oh how wrong I was it turned out to be the worst meal and the worst management I’ve ever experienced I didn’t get a replacement meal for a fillet steak that was cooked incorrectly and no effort was made to replace it they were quite happy for me to go hungry.
