We arrived at the restaurant at 2:15pm on Saturday, September 9th and were a bit concerned when we saw the empty parking lot, thinking the place might be closed. What B4788MH doesn't like about Green Man Inn:
Horrendous pub. Charlotte the bar manager is ridiculously rude. How she has a job as a bar manager with her attitude we will never know!! Food was cold and took 2 hours. Avoid at all costs View all feedback.
Lovely lunch on a Friday for daughter, husband and grandson. We booked a table a high chair was ready and waiting We were greeted by very friendly staff. All food was fresh and tasty even a nice dressed salad. Only one tiny drawback the cutlery is large the little one couldnt manage it. Excellent service.
The Green Man is quite small, has a very good large beer garden and a very good small restaurant. Parking is good, the location is in the small beautiful rural of Milwich. The Green Man also does good stone baked pizzas for takeaway.
I have had the pleasure of staying with family in the little village of milwich where you will find the green man inn, this is a beautiful little village pub where you will be made to feel very welcome by the locals, they have a large selection of craft ales along side there regular drinks, we are here on Saturday evening an the food was fantastic, very tasty and presentation of food is as good as Michelin star restaurants, the pub is clean and tidy with ample parking to front and rear, out back is a fantastic and large lawned area with lots of picnic tables , the surrounding area is breath taking with a lovely church and country walks.
A nice local pub that offers good quality food at sensible prices. It was very busy, but service was good and the atmosphere was cosy and friendly. It was nice to engage in a bit of banter with the locals seeing out the end of the day at their favorite watering hole. Overall a pleasant dinner in a quiet village atmosphere.
Simon is an amazing chef this food is way, way above average. The steaks are to die for the best i've ever had if i'm honest and i've had a lot in my time and aren't easliy please ! Also very reasonably priced. Definitely worth going.
