I chose... read more I dined at the restaurant on October 5, 2023, and I was quite disappointed. I ordered a baguette and chips, but both dishes had strands of hair in them. I chose not to eat my meal, and it was off-putting for the people I was dining with as well. Overall, I was very dissatisfied with the experience.

Edgar's Restaurant Bar serves excellent, freshly-cooked food in truly immaculate surroundings. There is a beautifully-furnished reception area and TV lounge, the dining room is spacious and superbly appointed, and there is an elevated dining balcony with an open aspect overlooking the Penkridge Brook. The owners and staff are friendly and obliging. This hidden jewel is well worth a visit.

We chose our meal from the menu, and it was se... read more Our party of four were warmly welcomed to this spacious and airy venue, and chose a table next to a large window. We chose our meal from the menu, and it was served promptly by a very friendly and efficient waitress, Tanya. The food was delicious, being well-presented and tasty. We had different desserts, which were also excellent. The lack of any background music enhanced the dining experience, and we are looking forward to visiting again. The venue is open 10am to 3pm seven days per week. Highly recommended.
