What a a change! The new owner has done a fine and great job. Cosy and heritage chic. Really good service with not only a bowl of water brought over for the bear (our dog) but also a bed for him to lie on. Had a pint of maltsmith. A really good IPA. A lovely feel with jazz playing. Quiet friendly roadside local pub. No food exept crisps/snacks. Background music, no Sky tv channels, only terrestial tv for occasional events Dog friendly.
Stopped for one night whilst coming down for a friends wedding, room was very clean and comfortable, staff and management were very friendly and nothing too much trouble, will definitely visit again.
Good pub. Lots of live music and always fun. One of the best in Stone for sure
