The fo... read more After reading the reviews I was a little bit hesitant going to this place. The location at the lake is fantastic and the terrace is lovely; enough space. The food was good and the service was excellent. Within 5 minutes the waitress took the order and food was served quickly although the restaurant was packed. Price/value was okay.

The location at the lake is fantastic and the terrace is lovely. The food was good personally I don’t like paprika on my chips but that’s a matter of taste and the service was efficient despite the fact that the place was packed. We had 2 different Greek platters which were tasty.

The new restaurant features a wide var... read more The Seeblick has recently reopened after a major reconstruction. I am not sure the ownership is the same as back in 2013. The new restaurant features a wide variety of offerings, about half of which are Greek dishes. We two couples ate there last night, on a whim. The facility is new, modern, spacious and pleasing. The staff is friendly, engaging, efficient but not overbearing. We chose a variety of Greek dishes and were surprised at how quickly they came and how large the portions were. All four of us have eaten in many Greek restaurants and are generally favorable in our views of that cuisine. We were unanimous in the feeling that all the dishes were good, but the main courses were somewhat lacking. It is not that they were flavorless, on the contrary, the spices were strong. The dishes had a commonality of seasoning that gave the menu a sense of sameness. Each was a different dish and we expected each to taste differently. None did. That last comment led me to award the restaurant 3 instead of 4 Points. I still recommend the restaurant for its atmosphere, service and price value.

After 10 minutes the service is ready. I ordered an alcohol-free white beer and pork medals with beef potatoes. I have a normal beer first. After a three-quarter hour I asked about my meal. First came the salad. Leaf salad with one piece of tomatoes and finish dressing by Discounter. Pig medals were definitely not. Rather somewhat larger pieces souvlaki, thin, dead drilled, dry. Missed. These were Greek garlic potatoes without garlic, with cheap pumice. The delicious mushroom sauce was also an instant product. Culinary GAU! The service was either incapable or overwhelmed, if certain also tried. Oh!
