We visited this place in the first week of nice weather and were excited to find it! I was particularly pleased to see that they offered lactose-free milkshakes. They had a wide variety of options for ice cream flavors, milkshake flavors, blizzard type mixes, sundaes, etc. They accepted both cash and debit cards. They were open every day except Sunday. Although there was a line, they served us quickly. View all feedback.
What Andrée Cousin doesn't like about Mr. Scoops:
big portions and prices were good. the complaint is that there is no flow to the room when waiting in line. Everyone was just like a crowd with no way of knowing who was next, and it was almost impossible to get back out of...the store as the door opens inward, and the whole crowd has to move uneasily, still not knowing where the line begins and ends just so people can come and go from the building.....I felt VERY cl... Shame because we enjoyed the food.
Visited on NB Day with our family. Ice cream on a hot day is the best! We enjoyed the Flurries! My favourite is chocolate peanut butter cup!
Excellent service from the young male server in this local ice cream parlour. What a find! Huge portions and an abundance of flavours to choose from. Walnut and maple syrup a big hit. Sit outside on the benches and relax overlooking the river on a sunny day. Street frontage and interior decor could do with a revamp as is looking tired but scooped ice cream more than makes up for this. Great service with even better ice cream.
This Ice Cream Stand is a well-kept secret. I doubt if the average tourist could find it. It serves up both soft and regular ice cream, and makes a variety of old fashioned concoctions. I was taken there on an August evening when it hit the spot.
Mr. Scoops is an ice cream Shop that usually only opens during the summer months. It was originally known s Scoops. I constantly changes location if it opens at all. We will not know until the warm weather returns if Mr. Scoops will join it. It
