And both times coming here (last October 2023 and today August 2024, we have been lucky enough to have gotten Chad as our server. Neither time asking for him Judy blessed to have gotten him both. My husband and I both discussed that he must have gone to a professional server school because I've never experienced such service. So attentive without being over bearing. Okay let's talk food.... Delish! Tonight we had the Trio of Barratta. Very delish! And for dinner I had the Pear and Gorgonzola Sacchetti OMG! Such a treat. rich, yet sweet but a delight on the tastebuds. My hubby had the Ribeye and roasted vegetables (I may have stolen a few bites) and was wonderful! Always a favorite when we come in town and we will continue to recommend and continue to come here when we come down. Thank u Chad for your service! U deserve the best of the best because u are!

I can confidently say it was an outstanding experience from start to finish! Del Sur offers a welcoming ambiance that's perfect for both casual dining and special occasions. Our group was on the larger side, but the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making us feel right at home. They went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. One of the highlights of our dinner was the superb selection of wines, which perfectly complemented our flavorful dishes. The meat choices were delicious, and I particularly enjoyed the steak, which was cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to enjoy a memorable meal on St. Simon's Island. I can’t wait to return!

The service was alright, the atmosphere wa... read more This restaurant was just barely okay. I saw good reviews and some negative ones but this was recommended by a friend. The service was alright, the atmosphere was alright, nothing special. But i assumed the food would be amazing, it was not. Half the lamb shank was tough/overcooked, and then it was rather bland. The saffron risotto it was sitting on was bland well. The short rib over risotto was more like ketchup soaked pulled pork and again the Prosecco risotto was bland. For ~35 dollars for each, i expected something more. Quality of food is comparable to low end chain, if Cheddar’s served lamb shank, this is what i would expect, but it would only be 15 dollars. Server and staff were fine, nice enough. Can’t blame her for the food.
